Two women allegedly working as “escorts” through the not-so-secret website chozadate.com were arrested by “deep penetration agents” of the National Bureau of Investigation who posed as clients for commercial sex services.
The two women identified only as Jenny, 21, and Katie, 25, were contacted by an agent and an asset through a cellphone number posted on the website. The ladies and their handler met their clients at a restaurant in Manila where they negotiated P6,000 to P10,000 per hour of escort services.
When the deal was sealed, the client-poseurs brought the women to an undisclosed motel in Manila where the arrest was announced while one of the women was in the sex act with the NBI asset.
During investigation, the two women said they were “freelancers”, and they started working for the escort service after responding to a magazine advertisement where they were promised earnings of P10,000 to P50,000 per month.
The entrapment operation was organized by Atty. Elfren Meneses, chief of the NBI’s Anti-Fraud and Computer Crimes Division, in response to reports of “cyber prostitution” being conducted through the website.
