In Antipolo City, a 47-year-old man who makes a living driving a passenger tricycle has been arrested for turning her three daughters aged 15 to 19 into his virtual wives.

The youngest is now even pregnant, police said.

The suspect, Sammy Labay, of Bgy. Dela Paz, Antipolo City allegedly turned her three daughters into sex slaves after the death his wife four years ago.

The eldest, now 19, told police investigators that her father started sexually abusing her at age 15. She told police:

“FIFTEEN pa lang ako nang gahasain ako ni Tatay. Natutulog ako nang pasukin niya ako sa kuwarto. Dahil sa takot ay hindi ako nagreklamo. Iyun po ay paulit-ulit niyang ginawa hanggang ako na ang tumayong asawa niya. (I was only 15 when my dad started raping me. He entered my room while I was asleep. Because of fear I did not tell anybody about it. He did this many times until I became his virtual wife.)”

She later learned that her two younger sisters, now aged 15 and 17, were also being abused, but they all kept their mouth shut because their father threatened to harm them if they reported to the police.

The youngest recently learned she was pregnant, so the sisters decided to leave their house and seek help from a pastor who referred the case to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Labay was arrested by a team of police officers from the Rizal Provincial Police Office and social workers from the DSWD.
