A 36-year-old family driver was caught red-handed taking pictures under a lady’s skirt at the SM Mall of Asia — after his cellphone camera touched the legs of the woman he was upskirting!
The victim, a single resident of Singalong, Manila (her name and address were actually published in a newspaper) was on her way to work at a drug store inside the mall in Pasay City when the incident happened.
The suspect was identified as Jonathan Paul Galo, 36, married, of Drive A, Santos Ave., Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City.
The victim told police she was on an escalator going up when she felt something touch her inner thigh and heard the “click” of a camera.
When she looked back, she saw Galo in the act of shoving a cellphone camera under her skirt. The victim chased Galo and cried for help from security guards.
Even while he was being chased by the screaming “dalagita,” Galo was seen pressing keys on his cellphone (“kinakalikot ang cellphone), apparently erasing some pictures or videos stored in his camera-equipped cellphone.
The city prosecutors office has set a P2,000 bail on charges of unjust vexation.
